Local evaluation update
Ipsos MORI has recently finalised the latest evaluation report for Waves of Hope. This focused on a number of areas – outcomes achieved, cost effectiveness, and how the programme is influencing policy and strategy across Liverpool. Moreover, it was the development of a range of detailed service user case studies which provided some of the most revealing and insightful observations. These highlighted how the support received by service users through LWoH has impacted upon their lives, also vividly illustrating the complexity of needs and the barriers within the system.
The evaluation has a number of key messages – progress continues to be made and the outcomes that the programme has been set are broadly being achieved. But there are also opportunities for further improvement in developing the learning which helps to influence changes in citywide policy, strategy, commissioning and delivery.
The partnership will be working together over the coming months to ensure that the priorities and recommendations from the report are taken forward and actioned.
